Our Intentions
We offer our young people a place where they can experience the joy and connection of a humanistic and spiritual community. We want them to enjoy attending our classes, not just because they’re fun, but also because they challenge their ideas and beliefs about themselves and the world they live in. We strive to generate lasting and meaningful experiences for their unfolding lives. We share with them the sacredness of the arts — poetry, music, story, drama — in our classes and offer a dynamic, interactive approach to education that enriches their young souls and minds. Our Elders share their experience and wisdom as role models for our Children and Youth. Our Children and Youth share their joy and energy as inspirations to our Elders and reminders of the many meanings and purposes of Life. We wish to honor this relationship by creating a sense of Family in our Congregation. We strive to foster social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth by providing a wide range of activities and opportunities for coming together in Joy, in Love, and in Peace.
