Our Philosophy

Through our classes and communication we encourage children to develop their own religious philosophy and approach to life. We honor the world’s great religions and expose our youth to those basic teachings and to the rich traditions of our own faith. Classes are held throughout the year. We encourage you—parent, friend and visitor– to play an active role. The Purpose of Religious Exploration is to:

  • Empower children and youth to seek harmony with others and their environment.
  • Engender in our children a sense of curiosity and wonder about life’s mysteries .
  • Provide an environment to explore social and moral values and spiritual identity.
  • Strengthen and nurture their individuality and character.
  • Listen to our children and youth and hear their concerns.
  • Encourage independence with a sense of individual and social responsibility.
