The Rev. Ken Hurto, Florida’s District Executive will be conducting Exit interviews with  Rev. Lucy and the lay leaders of the congregation, separately.  If you would like to join the Lay Leader’s discussion it will be on Thursday, May 8th at 7PM in the Sanctuary.

Sign up for Rev. Lucy’s last class using Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity, Tuesday evenings in May, 7-9, $20.  It may be extended into June.  See newsletter for more details.  Anita Waller called to say that this book and discussion “changed her life” and that you don’t have to be an artist to gain from it, but just wish to release your creativity.

Young solists from the Miami String Project play today at 2 pm at Ransom-Everglades School, 3575Main Highway, Coconut Grove, Free Admission, Free Parking.

Scrounge your cupboards and bookcases, unburden yourself of white elephants and then find a treasure to take home. It is time for our Spring Flea Market, Saturday, May 24, 8 am -3 pm. We need lots of (only) good stuff. And we need plenty of volunteers to set up, sort, price, sell, make goodies and clean up all three days: Thursday May 22 through Saturday. Please sign up to let us know how you can help. This is a great community builder as we work side-by-side and smile to see what and who comes in.
